Road Warrior Stories

Newsweek is currently accepting submissions for the best road warrior stories. As a road warrior myself, this is exciting for me not only because I get to say my piece of the story but also I get to learn about what others are going through. Almost like combining www.flyertalk.com and www.blackberryforum.com into one big story. I'll be sending my submission shortly, just after getting on a 14 hour flight to go to work this evening :( The worst part of being a road warrior is not being able to sleep in your own bed and be with your loved ones. Such is life!

On another note, USAToday mentioned the willingness off American Airlines to cooperate with their unions to pull them out of their financial predicament. Now thats a breath of fresh air for the industry. Everyone in the industry (self included) will be watching and hoping that the best will come out of this. It could be revolutionary. Fingers crossed!

Have a fabulous day!!

The Child In All Of Us

In Steven Levy's article in Newsweek about inventors, are fab inventors born or made?

It is all about the approach. I recently went to sales seminar where the speaker asked us how many times a child laugh in a day. Up to 6,000 times he says. They laugh about anything and everything. By bringing the child in all of us out again, can we recreate the playful approach in many inventors?

Which brings me to another point. Laughter is the best medicine.
